Death Cab For Cutie

Veteran indie unit Death Cab For Cutie will be hitting the Great White North this week, playing a Toronto date for Canadian Music Week, followed by a show in Montreal. The band are on tour in support of their recently released album Kintsugi, but if their previous shows are any indication, their set list is bound to pick from a variety of well-known songs from their catalogue in addition to the new material.

Jennifer Castle

Toronto-based songwriter Jennifer Castle will be taking her folk-inflected tunes across the country this week, playing shows in Vancouver and the Prairies. Her distinct alto croon on last year's Pink City translates perfectly into a live setting, where she is backed by a full band, and showcases the full range of her voice.

Faith No More

Legendary hard-rockers Faith No More will be making a Toronto stopover for Canadian Music Week, as part of their North American reunion tour. As seen at their previous shows on the tour so far, the band will be playing new songs from their forthcoming release Sol Invictus alongside a number of classic tunes, so be sure to catch their performance when they stop by.

Red Bull Thre3Style Canadian DJ Finals

Red Bull Thre3Style, the annual worldwide DJ battle, has returned. The bout to represent Canada in the World Finals will be taking place this week in Winnipeg. Winners from the qualifying rounds in Vancouver and Halifax will be competing against one another, playing short sets to impress a crowd as well as a panel of judges. Come and witness some sets from up-and-comers from across the country.
