While Death Cab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard has been vocal in his opposition to streaming service Tidal, he apparently has no qualms with music identifying app Shazam. Gibbard recently teamed up with the app for a pair of promotional performance videos, which see the singer deliver stripped-down renditions of a couple of tunes.
Gibbard, backed by Death Cab for Cutie touring member Zac Rae on the ivories, opens with Kintsugi single "Black Sun," then hangs around for a throwback to 2003 Transatlanticism cut "Passenger Seat."
