Death Cab for Cutie "Black Sun" (Dan Deacon remix)

Death Cab for Cutie "Black Sun" (Dan Deacon remix)
Ben Gibbard has confirmed that the Postal Service are no more, but for those with a hankering to hear the singer's voice within the context of electronic pop, Dan Deacon has now remixed Death Cab for Cutie's track "Black Sun."

This remix gives the mellow indie rock song an undercurrent of Deacon's characteristic hyper-activeness, as Gibbard's restrained vocals drift amidst twitchy beats and spaced out ripples of celestial synths. In other words, it's significantly trippier than either Death Cab or the Postal Service, but it still has Gibbard's signature melancholia.

The original version of this song is on Death Cab's new album Kintsugi, which is out now on Atlantic Records.
