Published Aug 22, 2014Coming off the recent release of Dearly Beloved's spacey alt-rock LP, Enduro, the Toronto act are affixing equally tripped-out visuals to the album's "Astor Dupont Payne."
What we get here are a kaleidoscopic arsenal of fluid shapes moving in and out of time with the band's blue-mood barrage of pummelling drums, distorted licks and unsettling boy-girl vocal harmonies. As the track steers itself into murkier waters, we see black and white clips of socialite events, a worm's-eye view of an unkempt field and reverse-image shots of beaches and creepy crawlers.
