Lights and deadmau5 are back together at last. Today the pair have shared a new EDM single called "When the Summer Dies," and you can hear it for yourself now.
And that's not all: apparently an alternative mix of the song will be coming next Friday (July 23), as well as a music video created in Manticore — the maker of user-generated game platform Core. Crowdsourcing content submissions from fans, the "When the Summer Dies" video will be a one-of-a-kind virtual gaming experience by deadmau5 and Richie Hawtins' new company PIXELYNX.
In 2018, Lights and deadmau5 had their first collaboration with "Drama Free." The song appeared on the soundtrack for the Netflix film Polar, which deadmau5 scored.
