Alexisonfire Offshoot Dead Tired Sign to New Damage Records, Premiere New Song

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 4, 2014

After popping up on stages earlier this year, former Alexisonfire vocalist George Pettit's current hardcore band Dead Tired have announced they've inked up with New Damage Records to deliver their debut 7-inch, as well as full-length, in 2015.

A press release confirms that the quintet will deliver a 45 with the imprint sometime early next year, with their debut album coming later in the year. A sneak peek from the 7-inch called "Court of Public Opinion," however, is now up to stream. You'll find the violently screamed slice of scissor-beat thrash down below.

It's further explained that the Hamilton unit — Pettit, Phil Waring (Black Lungs), Franz Stefanik (Okey Doke Tattoo), Chris Whetstone (Dead Beat) and Marco Brassett (Protest The Hero) — stopped off at the city's Box Car Sound studios a few months back to work on their full-length debut with engineer Sean Pierson. While details are slim, the set will feature 12 tracks and feature guest vocals from TV Freaks' Dave O'Connor and Career Suicide singer Martin Farkas.

In addition to "Court of Public Opinion," you'll find info on a few upcoming Dead Tired concerts down below.
