​Dead or Alive Frontman Pete Burns Dead at 57

Dead or Alive frontman Pete Burns passed away yesterday (October 23) at the age of 57. The cause of death is being reported as cardiac arrest.
 
The singer rose to prominence in the 1980s, fronting Liverpool, UK, band Dead or Alive. After forming in 1980, they found mainstream success in 1985 with the release of "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)." The band released their last studio album, Fragile, in 2000.
 
Burns also appeared on UK reality show Celebrity Big Brother in 2006. He filed for bankruptcy in 2014.
 
A message from Burns's management about the singer's death reads:
 
All of his family and friends are devastated by the loss of our special star. He was a true visionary, a beautiful talented soul, and he will be missed by all who loved and appreciated everything he was and all of the wonderful memories the has left us with. We have no more words, we will make a further statement when we have had a chance to come to terms with our devastating loss. He will live forever in our memories.
