Classy bedroom pop savants Twin Shadow, the brainchild of George Lewis Jr., recently took to the Daytrotter offices and recorded four songs. As always with their in-studio recordings, this Daytrotter Session adds a unique, slightly rawer edge to Twin Shadow's hazy sheen.
Taking on standout tracks from their debut album Forget, Twin Shadow's Daytrotter performance reignites the excellent songwriting of the studio tracks as the band takes on "Shooting Holes," "I Can't Wait," "Slow" and "Castles in the Snow." These recordings work well on their own, but will also be sure to inspire another listen of the proper studio versions as well.
