Daylight

Sinking

BY Sam SutherlandPublished Feb 16, 2010

The world is a right and just place. After getting released online as a free demo, Daylight saw fit to remix and remaster this killer collection of songs and send it into the world properly. Now dubbed Sinking, this five-song EP is a must-hear for fans of Hot Water Music and Small Brown Bike. Admittedly, there are enough bands in the world gunning for the title of "best catchy band with rough vocals, beards and plaid," but Daylight are at the top of their game on Sinking, and any fan of Caution is guaranteed to play the shit out of these songs and be really stoked. It's not original, but it's great, and most importantly, it shows an ass-load of promise. And what's a debut for anyway?
