Published Jun 12, 2009Well, here's an interesting little film project for those with short attention spans. Roping in such big names as David Lynch, Harmony Korine, James Franco and Cat Power's Chan Marshall, a new cinematic series called OneDreamRush is set to feature "42 films by 42 different directors, each lasting 42 seconds," according to The Playlist, and with every one being based on a dream the director had.
As the blog also points out, though, the project does come courtesy of some hefty corporate sponsorship from New Zealand vodka company 42 Below (which was recently bought up by Bacardi). But after watching the mind-fuck of a trailer below, we're just going to try to let that one slide. It also doesn't hurt that this series also includes even more big-time directors such as Larry Clark, Gaspar Noe, Kenneth Anger, Niki Caro and Sergei Bodrov, as well as songwriter Sean Lennon, actresses Asia Argento and Rinko Kikuchi and comic book scribe Grant Morrison.
For more details and updates on the project - as well as to find out just what Miss Marshall is dreaming of - you can visit the official site here. Well, if you are of legal drinking age, that is.
