Kung Fury is a comedic action movie spoof that found success on Kickstarter, and while we're going to have to wait a little longer for the full short film, we can tide ourselves over with a hilariously over-the-top music video from singing actor David Hasselhoff. This is the film's theme song, "True Survivor."
The whole thing is a shameless '80s throwback, from Hoff's mullet right down to the new wave-style synth-pop song. This "Eye of the Tiger"-esque anthem features the chorus just "we need some action," and the accompanying video certainly lives up to that demand. It part kung fu flick, part Tron-aping sci-fi, part apocalyptic violence. Meanwhile, Hoff dons a bomber jacket and poses in front of a cool white sports car. Badass!
