Dipping a toe into David Bowie's catalogue can be an intimidating experience given the sheer number of classic albums. It's good news, then, that his Sound+Vision box set is getting reissued once again. The four-CD set will be out on September 23 through Warner.
The collection originally came out in 1989 as an early CD-era release. It was then reissued in 2003. Like that 2003 version, this new repressing expands the original three CDs to four by including a number of early '90s cuts.
A press release notes that, in addition to including hits and cuts from his studio albums, the set features "long lost B-sides, explosive live recordings, soundtrack recordings and remixes." See the tracklist below.
Not included, however, is any material from late-era albums Outside (1995), Earthling (1997), 'hours…' (1999), Heathen (2002), Reality (2003) or The Next Day (2013). See the tracklist below.
