David Bowie's 'A Reality Tour' Live Album Gets Vinyl Reissue

BY Alex HudsonPublished Feb 27, 2016

Sadly departed glam god David Bowie's final tour took place more than a decade ago, when he embarked upon "A Reality Tour" in 2003 and 2004. That tour has since been chronicled with a 2004 DVD and a 2010 CD. Now, A Reality Tour is coming to vinyl on June 3 through Friday Music.

A Reality Tour will be released in a vinyl box set containing three clear blue 180-gram LPs. These were captured in November of 2003 at the Point in Dublin, Ireland. The records come housed in what an announcement calls "a very handsome sturdy box." It includes two poster inserts.

There are 33 tracks in all: the 30 songs from the DVD release plus three bonus cuts, which had previously been released in CD and digital versions. The songs were mastered by Joe Reagoso, and it all adds up to almost three hours of music.

See the tracklist below. The set is available to pre-order here.

Just yesterday (February 26), Bowie was treated to vinyl reissues of six classic albums: Space Oddity (1969), The Man Who Sold The World (1970), Hunky Dory (1971), The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (1972), Aladdin Sane (1973) and Pinups (1973).
