David Bowie, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop's Early Collaborations Examined on New DVD
In the past 35+ years, not much has happened in pop, rock or punk music without a direct debt owed to either David Bowie, Iggy Pop or Lou Reed. On November 23, MVD Entertainment Group. will release a new DVD that examines the collaborations between the three legendary songwriters.

The film is called The Sacred Triangle: Bowie, Iggy & Lou 1971-1973. According to a press release, it "investigates the era in which these brilliant, creative personalities worked most closely together."

While the three musicians themselves did not participate in the film, it does feature first hand input from Bowie's ex-wife Angie, Andy Warhol follower Billy Name, and MainMan Management vice president Leee Black Childers. The DVD also boasts "rare and classic film footage, plus recently discovered archive, seldom seen photographs and a host of other features."
