David Bowie recently unveiled a new stage show called Lazarus and will be releasing a brand new studio album titled ★ (pronounced "Blackstar") in the new year.
"Lazarus" appears in the play of the same name, and the song is reportedly the only music from that production that will make its way onto ★.
Bowie has shared a tiny 15-second snippet of said track, which hears him telling listeners to "Look up here, I'm in heaven." He continues to croon, "I've got scars that can't be seen" before the brief preview comes to a close.
The full single is expected to arrive on December 17, with the new album to follow on January 8. For now, listen to a small sonic sampling of "Lazarus" in the player below.
