Following the release of his dance-expanded version of The Next Day, simply titled The Next Day Extra, rock'n'roll icon David Bowie has let loose a new video for "I'd Rather Be High (Venetian Mix)."

The clip was directed by Tom Hingston and utilizes raw footage from World War I. Further, the footage is heavily edited and processed, occasionally subject to psychedelic colours and other trickery, making for a fascinating watch.

Check out the tripped-out video for "I'd Rather Be High (Venetian Mix)." The song will also be available on a limited white vinyl 12-inch on December 16. It will be backed with James Murphy's "Love Is Lost" remix and will feature a die-cut sleeve from artist Jonathan Barnbrook.
