Filmed during David Bowie's tumultuous Diamond Dogs Tour in 1974, Cracked Actor is one of the most revealing rock documentaries of all time, as it shows the legend questioning himself while his relationship with his wife Angie falls apart and his cocaine addiction continues to grow.

The film originally aired on BBC 2 for the Omnibus documentary series in 1975. In addition to the revealing behind-the-scenes footage, the film also includes performances of "Space Oddity," "Cracked Actor," "Sweet Things/Candidate," "Moonage Daydream," "The Width of a Circle," "Aladdin Sane," "Time," "Diamond Dogs" and "John, I'm Only Dancing (Again)."
