Fans of late '90s/early 2000s indie rock take note, as Pedro the Lion frontman and accomplished solo artist David Bazan has joined forces with Will Johnson of Centro-matic and Matt and Bubba Kadane of Bedhead to form a new project called Overseas.

Longtime friends, collaborators and tourmates, the four members of Overseas first hit the studio in 2009, hoping to pull off a short EP or 7-inch. Instead, they wrote the skeleton of an album, eventually finishing their self-titled debut.

The resulting self-titled album will be released on June 11 via Undertow and can be pre-ordered here.

The cover art is available above, with the tracklisting below. You can also check out two songs from the release, both of which demonstrate the band's ability to combine complex guitar interplay with accomplished songwriting.

Overseas are already said to be working on a follow-up to the release.

Overseas:

1. Ghost To Be
2. Redback Strike
3. Old Love
4. HELLP
5. Lights Are Gonna Fall
6. Here (Wish You Were)
7. The Sound Of Giving Way
8. Down Below
9. Came With The Frame
10. All Your Own
