David Bazan Resurrects Pedro the Lion, Promises Tour and New Material

Following 2004's Achilles Heel, David Bazan retired his Pedro the Lion moniker and started making music under his own name. After reuniting with some former bandmates in Lo Tom earlier this year, Bazan has decided to bring Pedro back.

On his Twitter, Bazan announced a batch of Pedro the Lion comeback shows, with two performances in Seattle and two in Portland.

Responding to fans, however, Bazan made it clear that it wasn't just a brief reunion. He promised new material, adding that his next albums and tours will happen under the Pedro the Lion name. He added that he is suddenly in love with the project, saying "I know what to do now."
