Dave Grohl has lent his drumming talents to everyone under the sun, from Tenacious D to Queens to the Stone Age to the recent supergroup Them Crooked Vultures. Now, Grohl will reportedly be getting behind the kit for yet another new project: the upcoming Muppets movie.

According to an NME report, Muppets drummer Animal attends anger management, leaving Grohl to fill in for him. This would mark the first time Grohl has appeared on the big screen since the time he made a cameo in Tenacious D's The Pick of Destiny in 2006.

The new Muppets film was written by and stars Jason Segel (who recently unveiled a Christmas video), and is also slated to star Amy Adams and Zach Galifianakis. It's expected out on November 23, 2011.

Lady Gaga has previously been rumoured to appear in the movie; Segel recently told BSCkids that this is still unconfirmed, although the filmmakers are still hoping to bring the pop diva into the project.
