The Darcys

"Don't Bleed Me" (video)

Having recently signed to Arts & Crafts, and with their new self-titled album available for free from their website, genre-crossing Torontonians the Darcys just unveiled a video for their single "Don't Bleed Me."

This clip, helmed by award winning director Mike Portoghese (PS I Love You, Our Lady Peace, Bedouin Soundclash) is sure to inspire chills in many Canadians, as it depicts Toronto being torn apart by an apocalyptic catastrophe. With its images of the CN Tower cracking in half and a large spaceship hanging over the city, this looks a bit like a cross between The Day After Tomorrow and District 9 set to a keyboard-driven, Radiohead-esque rock song. We're warning you now: it doesn't end happily.

If you're suitably impressed, you can download a free copy of The Darcys or order it on vinyl here.
