Starting off with some underwhelming newer material, Danzig quickly transitioned into the classics to celebrate the band's 25 year anniversary, even if only Glenn himself has been around the whole time. Titles like "Twist of Cain," "Under Her Black Wings" and "How the Gods Kill" recalled some of Danzig's finest moments, reproduced with convincing passion if not exact precision, and the frontman's demeanour was powerful but endearingly polite, only slightly revealing his age. After a half-dozen songs or so, the "with Doyle (Wolfgang von Frankenstein)" part of the set commenced, the former Misfits guitarist making his appearance shirtless, ripped, and in full white face for "Death Comes Ripping." Rob Zombie joined in long enough to add his voice to the Misfits track "Vampira," but after a few more, it was back to Danzig anthem "Mother" for the goodbye number, keeping the focus on glories past.
