Danzig Announces Canada/U.S. Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 15, 2015

It's looking like it's going to be a gloriously dirty black summer for Danzig fans, as the iconic metal crooner has revealed he'll be packing his monochromatic wardrobe into a suitcase and launching a North American tour in July.

Today (April 15) the singer laid out plans for two weeks' worth of concert performances in the U.S. and Canada via his website. His up-north appearances take place in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

While Danzig's 2013 appearance in Vancouver had him celebrating the 25th anniversary of his self-titled solo debut, it's unclear at present if the upcoming tour will likewise outline a specific aural agenda.

As previously reported, the metal musician is still working on issuing his long-promised EP of Elvis covers and had previously revealed that he has plans to deliver an LP of original material sometime in 2015.

UPDATE: It's now been revealed that Pennywise and Cancer Bats will be opening the tour.
