Having signed with Six Shooter Records and releasing Black Birds Are Dancing over Me last year, affable Ontario songwriter Danny Michel has been promoting the album with extensive touring in 2013. This will continue in the coming weeks as he wraps up his busy year with a string of shows.
Following a one-off date for a benefit in November, Michel will begin the brief Ontario tour in earnest in December. Then, after another month off, he'll play an additional gig in January in Halifax. The bulk of the dates are full-band performances, but the schedule is bookended by a few solo gigs. The solo appearances are marked in the itinerary below.
A post on Michel's Facebook page promises that the tour will offer "songs from all the albums and a new band member!"
