On Twitter last night (October 21), Brown shared a brief 30-second clip of himself rhyming over "circuitloop." — a beat that first appeared on a 2018 collaborative album from Knxwledge and Samiyam. You can hear Brown tackle the hazy instrumental below.
Whereas XXX was in part a reference to Brown turning 30, he will turn 40 next March, making a potential XXXX a sequel of sorts.
This year has seen Brown appear on tracks from Jimmy Edgar, Black Noi$e and more. Last year, he released solo album uknowhatimsayin¿, which Exclaim! named one of the Best Hip-Hop Albums of 2019.
