Back in September, Daniel Lanois and L.A. singer-songwriter Rocco DeLuca took a break from recording the latter's new LP to play Toronto's Belljar Cafe. The show was highly praised by Exclaim!, and you can now get an idea of what went down via a video shot at the show.
Pedal steel master Lanois serves up some ambient slide work early on in the vid, accompanied soon after by DeLuca's six-string plucking, rootsy boot-stomping and eventually some tender, vibrato-laden vocals. Lanois tackles the mic himself via a folksy run-through of "Rocky World."
