If you're still pining for '90s-era Weezer, you might want to check out the new power-pop single from the Toronto-based Danger Bees. "Standing Still (The Girls I Call Don't Answer Anymore)" comes from the album Wyatt, out now on Daycare Records.

The song is steeped in "oh-woah" backing vocals, self-deprecating lyrics and triumphant pop grit. The accompanying video is a similar mix of happy and sad, as the Danger Bees perform at a tween's birthday party and drive the girls wild. This makes the boys jealous, so the youngsters savagely attack the band members in a variety of cruel ways.

Watch the clip below. According to a press release, frontman David Macmichael ended up sick following his scene in the unheated swimming pool.

The Danger Bees perform at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto on Friday (January 11).
