The Dandy Warhols Celebrate 'Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia' with 13th Anniversary Tour, Plan Reissue

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 27, 2013

Classic albums are often celebrated with 10th or 25th anniversary editions, but Portland pop-rockers the Dandy Warhols will be going a different route by celebrating the 13th anniversary of their Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia.

This 2000 album will be celebrated with a tour and a special edition reissue. While we don't yet have the details of the reissue, the North American tour will run from late May through most of June and will include Canadian stops in Montreal on June 4, Toronto the day after and Vancouver on June 22. The band will perform Thirteen Tales in full at each of these stops.

In related news, the Dandy Warhols will be playing each of the 13 songs at difference locations in and around downtown Portland today (March 27) and tomorrow. This mini-tour around the city will begin at 4:30 p.m. local time today at the former X-Ray Cafe on W Burnside St.

The remaining locations will be confirmed on Twitter. Each of the songs will be recorded by IntoTheWoods.tv and released as a web series in the coming weeks.
