Serbian-Canadian musician Dana Gavanski has announced plans to follow up her debut album with a new five-track covers EP titled Wind Songs. The record arrives on August 14 via Flemish Eye.

Today, Gavanski has shared her take on King Crimson's "I Talk to the Wind," which appears on the forthcoming EP.

"I kind of forgot about King Crimson for some time, and only got back into them early last year," the artist said of the cover in a statement. "Ian McDonald's beautiful flute solos throughout the song, the mellow vocals and symphonic arrangements all come together to make it beautifully moody."

So far, the four other tracks on Wind Songs have yet to be revealed. Produced by in part by Gavanski, with the help of James Howard and Capitol K at London's Total Refreshment Centre, the record promises to breathe new life into pre-existing songs.

Gavanski released her debut album, Yesterday Is Gone, back in March. Ahead of its release, Exclaim! named her one of the 8 Emerging Canadian Artists You Should Hear in March 2020.
