If you've ever wanted to get chummy with Dan Mangan, here's your chance. The affable Vancouver songwriter has just shared his phone number and asked everyone to text him.
In an Instagram post, Mangan shared the number and explained that he was trying out having two phone numbers, one of which is just for texting. He shared his texting number and said, "We could do emojis. We could do GIFs. Think of the GIFery."
Note that the number has a 310 area code โ an American number originating in Los Angeles County โ so long distance rates may apply for Canadians.
Mangan just shared the number today, and it already seems to be attracting a lot of attention. In the comments of his Instagram post, he wrote, "let's just say I've had a lot of screen time today," and "it's been an intense morning."
As of press time, he's also added the number to his social media bios.

This isn't the first time a Canadian music has shared their private contact info with the public. Jay Arner included his real-life phone number in the chorus of his song "Personal Line," while Mac DeMarco gave out his home address at the end of his album Another One.
