The Hood Internet has been pumping out timely mash-ups at an impressive rate as of late. They've merged the likes of Timbaland and Hot Chip, the Roots and Deerhunter, and the Game and the Go! Team, but so far the quality of their work hasn't exactly blown me away. Recent blogger fixation Dan Deacon though is a perfect target for such an indulgent project though (this time carried out by DJ STV SLV), and his teaming with foul-mouthed, Dirty South MC Khia is a fine marriage indeed. Layering the pussy whipping rhymes from her "Snatch the Cat Back" over Deacon's fuzzy electro party starter "The Crystal Cat" finally provides a coherent hybrid that has me believing it isn't just Girl Talk that can walk the walk.
