Damien Jurado Teams Up with Daniel Hart to Soundtrack 'Tumbledown' Film

The work of Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter Damien Jurado has always had a cinematic feel, so it only makes sense that he'd write music for a film. At long last, he's finally doing just that, composing music for a new indie flick called Tumbledown.

The film was directed by Sean Mewshaw, and follows the story of a young woman trying to move on with her life after her husband, a prominent folk singer, passes away. The film stars Rebecca Hall, Jason Sudeikis, Dianna Agron, Blythe Danner, Griffin Dunne, Richard Masur and Joe Manganiello.

For the film's soundtrack, Jurado composed music alongside Daniel Hart, a Texas-based artist best known for soundtracking Ain't Them Bodies Saints.

Tumbledown will make its debut at New York's Tribeca Festival in April.
