Daft Punk Working On New Album

Daft Punk Working On New Album
Daft Punk are reportedly working on their fourth album. No, really. According to Aussie dance music authority In the Mix, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to 2005's Human After All.

In a chat with long-time Daft Punk manager Busy P, the Ed Banger label boss also known as Pedro Winter said, "The boys are in a studio in Paris at the moment. And I can’t wait to listen to their new stuff! The good thing is that they are making music at the moment.”

Sounds good, but as we know, Homem-Christo and Bangalter don't often rush their work, and Winter says there will be a wait before we hear anything new. "They are slow, you know. They are taking their time, and they have a right.” Indeed.

Also in the interview, Winter divulged that he is stepping down as the duo's manager to focus on his booming label, which has tasted recent success with artists like Justice and SebastiAn. "I’ve stopped working with them really recently, because I want to focus and concentrate on Ed Banger and my artists, and my own career as Busy P.”
