Daft Punk Reportedly Collaborated with Kanye West on "Black Skinhead"

Not too much is known about the tracklisting to Kanye West's upcoming Yeezus LP, but it's now been revealed that the previously teased "Black Skinhead" came out of a collaboration with French electronic heroes Daft Punk.

As pointed out on West fansite Kanye To The [via Consequence of Sound], the Vevo video of West's recent performance on SNL credits Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter as co-writers of the tune.

While it may have taken a while to figure this out, Bangalter had previously hinted at an upcoming collaboration with the rapper. "It was very raw," Bangalter had said at the time, adding of Yeezy's flow, "he was rapping — kind of screaming primally, actually."

Ultimately, the quote sums up the yelped and shouted bars of "Black Skinhead" quite nicely. You can check out the hard-swung, synth-driven aggro-rap piece down below.

A tracklisting has yet to appear for Yeezus, which drops June 18 through Def Jam/G.O.O.D. Music, but we know that it will also feature guest bars from Chief Keef.
