The D’Urbervilles North By Northeast Toronto ON June 11 to 15

If you were lucky enough to make it past the huge line-up outside the Horseshoe on Saturday, you were lucky enough to see Guelph’s D’Urbervilles play a fun set filled with hand claps a plenty. Friends and family overflowed from the venue and their electronic tinted dance post-punk rock (think Wolf Parade and Constantines) made you forget that you don’t know how to spell their name. Running through fan favourites off their new album We Are the Hunters, front-man Tim Bruton looked almost surprised that everyone was having so much fun, as he kept smiling the biggest smile between lyrics.
