After unleashing new song "Humanoid" last year, Cynic are now revisiting their acclaimed 2008 album Traced In Air for a new reissue.

The Paul Masvidal-fronted outfit will deliver Traced In Air: Remixed on September 27 through Season of Mist. Sonic differences from the 2008 release include new tracking by bassist Sean Malone, and remix and remaster by Periphery's Adam "Nolly" Getgood.

You can preview the new remix in the player below. The CD Digipak release will also feature a 20-page booklet, and is now available for pre-order. Cynic's most recent full-length album was 2014's Kindly Bent to Free Us.

Cynic's lineup now features Masvidal, Malone and drummer Matt Lynch, who had previously performed with the group live in 2015. Drummer/co-founder Sean Reinert left the group in 2015.
