North America, get ready to put on your dancing shoes. Aussie synth pop masters Cut Copy have a new album, Zonoscope, due out next month and they have just announced a North American tour in support of the release.
The band will spend the early part of the year on the Australian festival circuit before heading to Europe for a run of shows in March. The North America jaunt starts on March 26 in Miami, FL. This leg of the tour lasts for almost a month and includes Canadian appearances in Montreal and Toronto. Holy Ghost! will open all of the shows.
A press release lists the April 15 date as "Take a wild guess." This presumably means the Coachella festival in Indio, CA, which will begin that same day.
Cut Copy have been previewing Zonoscope with a series of making-of documentaries. The fourth chapter, "Visions of Cloud Neck," is out now, and can be seen at the bottom of this page.
Zonoscope is out February 8 via Modular.
