Published Apr 12, 2011While cutesy-poo indie poppers Cults just played a couple of dates in Montreal and Toronto last week, the NYC group apparently can't get enough of Canadian metropolises. A new slew of tour dates in support of their upcoming self-titled album reveals that the band will be coming back to both cities this June.
The band will hit up Toronto twice. One show takes place at Lee's Palace on June 17, while they'll take to the stage at Yonge Dundas Square the next day (June 18). Neither show has been confirmed as a part of the fest, but it's important to note that both dates land them in the T-Dot during NXNE, so chances are high that these dates will be included.
Cults will then play Montreal's Il Motore on June 19. Check out the rest of the dates below.
As previously mentioned, Cults' debut disc will drop June 7 on Lily Allen's label, In the Name Of. While you probably bopped along to their bubbly tunes last week, these post-album release shows practically ensure there will be some serious sing-alongs come June.
UPDATE: Over here on NPR, you can also stream the new Cults song "Abducted."
