Over the course of two previous LPs, Brazil's CSS have taken their party rock sound around the world, signing to Sub Pop and earning a following on both sides of the equator. Now, according recent updates on their Facebook and Twitter accounts, the band are in the studio recording their third album.
As AUX> points out, on June 26 the band tweeted, "OMG!!!!! WE ARE SO EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW RECORD!!!!!! GAYS... YOU ARE GOING TO EXPLODE!!! XOOXOXOX"
A few days later, they posted a Facebook photo gallery of pictures from the studio. Although most of the pictures are non-music related (a dog, a dart board, toys, etc.), there is one picture of drummer Adriano Cintra at a computer with the caption, "Adri hard at work!" Cintra produced the band's first two albums and, judging by this shot, he'll be doing the new one as well.
There's no concrete information as to when were going to be getting new music and what it's going to sound like, but rest assured: more CSS is on the way.
