Crash Romeo

Minutes to Miles

Trustkill Records used to represent a fairly tougher, heavier alternative to the more pop and emo-oriented bands in the scene. Well, let this be the obituary to Trustkill’s once tough roster. Meet Crash Romeo, a predictable, run-of-the-mill emo band. Highlights include irritating Davey Havok-esque high pitched vocals, ridiculously lame choruses and zero originality in their songwriting. It’s unfortunate that Crash Romeo will probably win over hoards of unsophisticated music listeners who like, as their bio so nicely put it, "tight pants, Converse All-Stars and dyed Mohawks.” Ripping off Taking Back Sunday note for note does take some nerve; I just wish they would have pushed that courage into taking risks with their songwriting.
