Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn has a new solo album called Faith in the Future due out on September 11 through Partisan, and he's just given us a new taste of it by sharing the track "Maggie I've Been Searching for Our Son."
The song sports a cinematic groove that is at once triumphant and bittersweet, and fits beautifully with Finn's poignant lyrics. There's a line about some who "went to the movies with a gun," which is sadly prophetic in the wake of the recent movie theatre shooting in Louisiana.
