COVID Be Damned, City Girls Performed for a Packed House on Thanksgiving

It's bad enough that people ignored health experts and decided to travel all around America for their Thanksgiving this week, but the hip-hop duo City Girls took things a step further and performed a packed concert in Orlando.

Making matters even more confusing, the event was actually totally legal in terms of Florida's COVID-19 plan. As TMZ reports, the show took place at Gilt Nightclub, which is allowed to operate at full capacity since more than 50 percent of its sales come from booze. As you can see by the video below, it was most certainly a full-capacity event.

Despite the legality, it's probably not the most responsible way to spend an evening as Florida is spiking in coronavirus cases, hospitalizations and deaths.

Speaking to TMZ, a representative for the Gilt Nightclub said that the club has been shut down for six months due to the pandemic, adding, "at this point we are just trying to keep our 125 employees employed and help out music industry in any way we can."
