The Cool Kids' Chuck Inglish Taps Mac Miller, Big Boi, Ab-Soul and Chromeo for Debut Album

Though they had a ton of hype backing them, rap duo the Cool Kids never quite broke through the way many expected them to. After calling it quits last year, the group's Chuck Inglish has now announced his debut solo album.

The new record is called Convertibles, and was entirely produced by Inglish himself. It also sees the performer rapping alongside Mac Miller, Big Boi, Ab-Soul, Chromeo, Asher Roth and his former Cool Kids collaborator Sir Michael Rocks.

Though originally from Chicago, Inglish has been living in California as of late. A press release explains that the new album is a reflection of Inglish's time spent living in Los Angeles and represents his evolution as an artist.

Convertibles will be available this fall via Inglish's own Sounds Like Fun imprint, who will release the record in conjunction with Dave Sitek's new Federal Prism label.

For now, check out the new song "Swervin'" below, which features Sir Michael Rocks.
