Converge's Jacob Bannon Unveils New Album with Wear Your Wounds

The group also features members of the Red Chord, Cave In, Twitching Tongues and Trap Them

When he's not busting his vocal chords as the frontman of Converge, Jacob Bannon has been exploring different sonic terrain with his band Wear Your Wounds. The group shared their debut album WYW in 2017, and now they're back with a follow-up.

The album is called Rust on the Gates of Heaven and marks the first time Wear Your Wounds wrote and recorded as a full band. That lineup includes Bannon alongside Mike McKenzie (the Red Chord), Adam McGrath (Cave In), Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed, ex-Kid Cudi) and Chris Maggio (ex-Trap Them, ex-Sleigh Bells). They were joined in the studio by Ben Chisholm (Chelsea Wolfe) and Gared O'Donnell (Planes Mistaken for Stars)

The album's title track has been treated to a music video. Directed by Max Moore, it can be viewed below.
