Constantines' Steven Lambke Preps Solo LP, Plots Tour with Daniel Romano

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Oct 1, 2015

Known to Canadian indie rock fans for his contributions to Constantines and post-Cons project Baby Eagle, Steven Lambke is branching out once again and embracing his own name for a new solo album. Titled Days of Heaven, the full-length effort is due out on October 30 through You've Changed Records.

The 11 new songs hear Lambke layering guitars and waxing poetic on the topics of "love, loss and memory." A few other familiar names pop up on the record, with Tamara Lindeman of the Weather Station providing vocal harmonies and Mika Posen of Timber Timbre crafting string arrangements. Additionally, Darcy Hanock (Ladyhawk), Richard Laviolette and Ian Kehoe (Marine Dreams) make appearances.

Visual artist Shary Boyle created the sculpture that appears on the album artwork, which is pictured above. Below, you'll find the tracklisting to Days of Heaven, as well as Lambke's upcoming tour dates with Daniel Romano. Scroll past those to give the album's title track a listen.
