As Entertainment Tonight reports, a small group of YouTubers have determined that the reason the murder was never solved was that, in fact, JonBenét Ramsey simply changed her name to Katy Perry.
One man named Dave Johnson uploaded a lengthy video where he rants about the supposed truth. "All of these people are liars, man," he said. "Nobody died, nobody got hurt. That sacrifice was in name only, and that was to get something, and that something was to become a star. JonBenét became Katy Perry, and that's a fact."
Further, a YouTuber named Jungle Surfer concluded that they're definitely the same person due to their eyebrows. "You know, the eyebrows don't change much on a person. You're born with your eyebrows," he said. "As you know, this whole entertainment industry is just a charade — you really don't know the truth."
Regardless of the fact that Ramsey would be 25 today and Katy Perry is 31, the case of her true identity has not yet been solved. The pop star has not yet commented on these allegations.
