Connect_icut has kept relatively quite since issuing Fourier's Algorithm back in 2010, but the Vancouver electronic artist is poised to make a return by the end of the year via his new LP Crows & Kittiwakes Wheel & Come Again. The record pops up December 4 via Aagoo's REV. Lab series.
A press release notes that, owing to influences as disparate as ambient electronic master Oval and shoegaze giants My Bloody Valentine, the "glitched and sequenced sound universe" of Connect_icut's new record presents "chaotic abstraction in a solid foundation of three-chord pop."
For a taste of what's to come, the artist is streaming album track "Port Shale" ahead of the album's release. You'll find a stream of the blippy number down below.
Crows & Kittiwakes Wheel & Come Again:
1. Imperial Alabaster (Long Version)
2. Port Shale
3. Fading Twice
4. Carrion Pecking
5. Practice Rot (Long Version)
6. Again Now (For Matt)
