Common Pushes 'The Dreamer, The Believer' to December

Over the summer, we found out about Common's upcoming, NO I.D.-produced LP, The Dreamer, The Believer and were expecting the set to drop this November via Warner. Unfortunately, the Chi-town rapper has informed his fans that they'll have to wait just a little bit longer.

Taking to his Twitter yesterday (October 19) amidst an onslaught of tweets about the new album, Common dropped the bomb that his next record would not be delivered November 22 after all. "December 2011," he wrote of the new launch date. "We had to move back a bit. Just a lil bit."

It's unclear why the album has been delayed. The good news, however, is that the veteran artist has been making his way around some New York clubs the past few days to spin the collection for hip-hop heads. For the rest of us, there's still no firm idea of when we'll get to hear his nouveau classic. He assures, however, "Its well worth the wait!"

In the meantime, take a listen to Common's current super-smooth, organ-pumping boom-bap number "Blue Sky" down below.
