Collapsing Opposites Carry On They Shoot Horses Legacy, Release EP, Tour Canada

BY Josiah HughesPublished Jul 3, 2008

The brainchild of former They Shoot Horses Don’t They? saxophonist Ryan McCormick, Vancouver’s Collapsing Opposites have been making complicated, noisy pop songs since 2002. With multiple tours and releases in various formats under their belts, the now-trio is not showing any signs of slowing down.

Recently back from five shows in Mexico, they have announced a split seven-inch with fellow ex-Horse Chris-a-riffic for release in the fall. To coincide with the release, they have also posted a tentative tour itinerary for a two-month fall tour that will lead them across the country. If you want to book a show, get in touch with them at ryan@collapsingopposites.com.

Finally, the band have also released The Story of the Rocks EP as a free digital download here.
