Colin Stetson "Who the Waves Are Roaring For" (video)
Ambient sax experimentalist Colin Stetson is promoting his To See More Light track "Who the Waves Are Roaring For" with a moody video clip.

The video, directed by Isaac Gale and David Jensen, features an ambiguous narrative that follows a young man in his apartment, bouncing from shots of him gazing out a window to violently kicking in a wall, only to reveal something surreal and beautiful. Though not directly tied to the lyrics, sung by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, Stetson feels the directors' visual interpretation fits in with the track's theme on "the inextricable relationship between death and love."

"They came up with something that I never would have thought of but still has firm ties to my vision," he told the New York Times.
